A few things to make YOU live more abundantly!

What a great topic to stumble upon today - I have been reading multiple books on personal development in the past few weeks and came across several ideas that have really stood out in my mind. Many people go through the course of their life and wonder, why am I not making more friends, creating new business opportunities, feeling great, meeting my partner, and any other downer thought that can matriculate in ones mind.  Lets discuss a few things that you can do to make YOU more appealing.

1) Learn to smile - it has a powerful effect on people. Ever notice the small child in the waiting room at your doctors office - He/she Smiles at you and it brightens your day?
2) Learn to be genuinely interested in other people besides YOU - Ever notice how much a person LOVES talking about himself? he/she can go on for hours. Many people just want to vent or be heard. You don't go to a doctor for a solution, you go to vent about a problem!
3)Remember Names - This is a gimme! to become more prosperous in your lifetime, remember peoples names! Everyone loves to be addressed by the name he or she was given - Remember to say thank you" Insert person name" when your leaving star bucks tomorrow morning.
4) treat others how you would like to be treated - this is obvious!

These are all rules that you already know but most of us never use them in our daily lives. It is a shame because these are very powerful rules that will make you live more abundantly and prosper in all areas of life! you will do well in any social situation if you just learn to look at things from others perspectives and realize we  all like to be treated well. I don't know any person who doesn't like a compliment, doesn't like the word thank you, and doesn't like to talk about him or herself. For more information how you can be a social machine read, "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. It will change your life!

I wish you all the best for the rest of this week!

Geoff
